Prenatal Squares

Playing Prenatal Squares is a game of fun through education and participation in one’s own Childbirth with Dignity experience. Contact Dolly Earl, RN for an appointment for an assessment/ interview and prenatal evaluation of risk factors for preterm labor. This can be done as soon as you find out you are pregnant.

While you wait for your first OB appointment, we can already be preparing for your positive pregnancy action plan. You collect one square in your quilt by attending your assessment interview. Then you can make appointments for your prenatal squares per your choice of experiences throughout your pregnancy. You can collect 9-12 in all which will make a very nice quilt for your baby’s room. The classes include:

• The Family Wish: preconception planning »
• Baby Pearls Case Management Program »
• Pregnancy Essentials »
• Preventing Premies for High Risk Mothers
• Lamaze Plus »
• The Hearty Family: breastfeeding, infant care
• Homemaking Arts: bread baking, soup making
• Quilting and blanket making
• Celebrations of the Heart Reunion (students will come back to visit Dolly and bring their babies!)

There is no extra cost for the Prenatal Squares experience. You simply pay for any materials.
